The Independent featured Cordell & Cordell’s growing presence with the launch of the firm’s first office in the United Kingdom.

Cordell & Cordell specialises in men’s divorce and dads’ and fathers’ rights. The business has grown from a general law practice into one of the largest family law firms serving men in the world.

Jerry Karlin, chair of the charity Families Need Fathers, sees the arrival of Cordell & Cordell as a positive development for men and fathers in the UK.

“Fathers can experience many difficulties in the family justice system, where they can often face an uphill battle to maintain a meaningful relationship with their children” Mr. Karlin said.  “The introduction of law firms which specialise in supporting fathers is new for the UK, but I hope that they will be able to provide the specialist support that many dads need to be able to make their case in court.”

With a London branch now open and more branches planned, Cordell & Cordell is committed to bridging the gender gap that has been part of family law for too long.

“We should be looking for equal opportunities for men,” said Cordell & Cordell divorce solicitor Karim Assaad. “It can’t be looked at differently.”
